The Need for tree planting

There is an urgent need to equip children and communities with the knowledge, tools, and values to fight climate change from the ground up. Many children and youth today lack access to climate-smart education or platforms for meaningful action. Additionally, there is a critical need to instil a climate action mindset in children while they are still young, so they grow up practicing tree planting, responsible waste disposal, and environmental stewardship wherever they go. This is the essence of the “catch them young” approach to climate action.
